Remember the mischief and spontaneity of our crazy childhood?

Unfortunately for many, the constant moments of adventure derived from wonder,

curiosity, and innocence gradually faded away with age. However, even as adults,

our imagination is not completely lost and gone. It exists right below the surface,

just hidden but still present.

‘GUGAA & MUGAA’ is a child-like monster who was born from the desire to uncover and express our latent childhood freedom.

At this exhibition, Anamachy Painting will be showing 70 pieces of brilliant new work including paintings.

Through this whimisical and fantastic world based in Above Second, he hopes to remind the audiences of their lost inner child.

To further the world of ‘GUGAA & MUGAA’,

a collaborative t-shirt and bag collection with D-MOP’s casual line know as JO-1 will be on sale at various JO-1 shops between March and June 2010.

Anamachy Painting is an artist based in Tokyo with the sole objective to shift people’s view of art from “owning art” to “seeing art”.

He produces a collection of original paintings for each exhibition and uses this process to discover new unique styles and themes.

‘GUGAA & MUGAA’ was discovered in this manner and more creations are always popping out of the woodworks of his mind.

穴薪ペインティングのグガーが参加したMeganeZineの２号がリリースされます！！

「ロサンジェルス発、日本のアーティストを集めたMeganeZineの２号発行！」

東京そして、アメリカにてアーティスト支援及び、

デザイン全般の活動をしているStar Graphics（スターグラフィックス）は日本とアメリカをデザインとアートで繋ぐべく１８ページのアート本「MeganeZine 2nd」を発行します。

エド・テンプルトン（Ed Templeton）も参加しています！ 日本ではBeamsTよりTシャツ付きで発売が決定しました！

日本の若いアーティストの作品を世に広めるべく発動した「Megane Zine」の２号目が完成しました。

今回は日本で活躍中の８人のアーティストが参加しています。

また、表紙には彼らのオリジナル・キャラクターをレイアウトし、

更にプロスケーターでもあり、スケートメーカー「Toy Machine」のオーナーでもあるエド・テンプルトン（Ed Templeton）によるキャラクター「Sect」も参加しています。

見てもらう人に童心に帰ってほしいと思い、今回は厚紙を使った子供の絵本のような製本にしました。

「エド・テンプルトンも参加」

今回はStarGraphicsと関わりのあるアーティスト、エド・テンプルトン（Ed Templeton）も参加しています。

プロスケーターとして「Emerica」のライダーであると共に、同社のアートディレクターも務めている。

また、1993年には自身のスケートボードメーカー「TOY MACHINE」を設立し、1995年マイク・ミルズによるドキュメンタリー短編映画「Deformer」にて大々的に彼のライフ・ワークが紹介された。

映画「Beautiful Losers」にも出演している米西海岸の気鋭アーティスト。
